Where We’ve Been:

The Church Council voted unanimously to begin the search for an Interim Minister, in accordance with our by-laws. The Interim Minister will assume pastoral duties and guide us as we search for a Settled Minister. We called for volunteers to serve on pastoral search committees.

What’s Happening Now:

Tom Gillispie and Julia Hanna are completing the church profile to recruit an Interim Minister.

A Search Committee has been formed, including Alan Warner, Gail Dow, Julia Hanna, Eric Heels, Bridget Chamberas, Rebecca Cazabon (Council Liaison), and Janice Hartford (Deacons Liaison). Once the profile is posted and we have applicants, Tom, Julia, and the Search Committee will begin vetting candidates.

Once the Interim Minister is in place, the Search Committee will begin looking for a Settled Minister.

Looking Ahead:

Guest preachers have been scheduled for February and March (see below), with pastoral care provided by Rev. Linda Michel. She will also preach on March 2 and serve communion. Rev. Larry Iannetti will be with us on March 9th and 16th.
