What We Are Doing The Social Justice Task Force is pleased to announce our 2nd Annual ACC Lenten Food Drive, Donate non-perishable food items to support our local food pantry and help alleviate hunger for our neighbors.

Each week, we will drop off the collected items to the Acton Food Pantry.

The Social Justice Task Force thanks you for your participation.

How To Help in 3 Steps

Get a Checklist

To better support the Acton Food Pantry, we will focus on specific items each week using targeted checklists. Scroll down for each week's checklist.

Shop

Use the checklists to add items for the food drive to your weekly shopping.  If you see something that you think would be helpful, you can always include it in your donation even if it is not on the list.

Drop Off

Your donations will be accepted at Church Sunday through Thursday.  You can drop off your donations when you come to worship on Sundays at 9:30am or drop donations off during the Church Office hours, 9am to 4pm Monday through Thursday.  There will be clearly marked bins available in the main lobby alcove to accommodate your donations.

Volunteer Call

Food Delivery Ambassadors

Would you like to help out with more than donations?  We are looking for volunteers to pick up the accumulated donations from the Church and deliver them to the Acton Food Pantry.  This might be a nice opportunity for a family or a group of friends to do a service activity together!

Each week we will have a different focus for donations. We will be working on breakfast and baking, lunch and snacks, dinner, baby and toddler items, critical needs, and non-food items. Please feel free to donate items outside of our focus items as well. These checklists are for guidance and reference only.

Lenten Week One: Breakfast & Baking - March 9-15 Lenten Week Two: Lunch & Snacks - March 16-22 Lenten Week Three: Dinner - March 23-29 Lenten Week Four: Baby and Toddler - March 30-April 6 Lenten Week Five: Critical Needs - April 6-12 Lenten Week Six: Your Choice & Non-Food Items - April 13-20
