Let's Dance

The Townsend group will sponsor contra dancing in Hartman Hall on Saturday January 25, at 3:30 pm in Hartman Hall. We invite the congregation to join us. There will be live music and a dance caller. It will be fun and something different to do!

Fred and Rachel Gerhard will be there to teach us some steps. Fred and Rachel have been doing this sort of folk dancing for years, and Fred is very excited to share his passion with us.

Contra dancing is like line dancing, so the steps are simple, and no partners are required. Singles are welcome.

There will be light refreshments, and we will end no later than 6:30 pm. The cost This is a family-friendly activity, $10 per person or $20 cap per family. The fee will be used to cover the cost of the musicians and the caller.  If you want to add to the refreshment table, feel free to bring your leftover Christmas cookies — no requirement.

Fred and Rachel Gerhard will be there to teach us some steps. "The more the merrier.”

Hate to dance but don't want to miss the fun? Come and listen to the music. You just might find yourself moving your feet.

Please RSVP no later than Saturday, January 18, so we can prepare.

What a joyous run-up to our Annual Meeting the next morning!

You can RSVP to Betsy Bollier, Karen Longenecker, and or myself Franki Bennett
