Enrichment Opportunities

Women's Christmas Brunch:  On Saturday, December 7, from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., join us for fellowship and a delicious brunch prepared by Kirsten Kunz. Mary Beilman will speak about the role of First Connections, an agency in our community that offers support and guidance to young families. “Our mission at First Connections is to equip parents with tools, practical strategies, and connections to other families and their communities to foster healthy parenting and guide them through the first years of the parenting journey.” Rev. Andrew Harris will be offering a blessing and message.  Registration forms are available on the Opportunity Table. Invite a friend or neighbor to come celebrate the blessed season of Advent with us!

Scripture Readers: We need more than a dozen readers for Christmas Eve services. This is a meaningful way to prepare the way of the Lord. Contact the Janette Blackburn on Deacons, the church office for more information or sign up on the Opportunity Table.

Music: Advent/Christmas music at ACC will include an Advent piece by our Senior Choir that asks God to prepare us to receive His Son, "O Lieber Herre Gott” (O Beloved Lord God) by Heinrich SchÈ•tz. On Christmas Eve at 5 PM the Children's Choir will sing "Go Tell It on the Mountain." At 8 PM, the Senior Choir and soloists will sing the traditional lessons and carols service.  At the 10 PM service, soloist Meredith Hall, trumpeter Seelan Manickam, and violinist Anabelle Tirado will join our organist, Liz Carley, in providing our music.
