Church Communications

Our goal is to keep our members and friends apprised of what is happening here at Acton Congregational Church, using a variety of communications methods. Where appropriate, articles may be placed in Action Unlimited (distributed each week on Saturdays), in Acton's newspaper (The Beacon, distributed weekly on Thursdays), or on the Acton Patch. Internal communications include:

The Chimes

Our church newsletter is published monthly during the school year and twice in the summer. The Chimes includes messages from our ministers, information about upcoming events, the Common Read (an article recommended each month by our pastors to help us explore the dimensions of our faith), a list of those currently in need of our prayers, congregational birthdays being celebrated, etc. It's a must read! Click to the left to access the current and recent past issues of this newsletter.

Flash Mail

A brief message is sent to everyone for whom we have email addresses on the first and third Thursdays of each month to alert the congregation as to special upcoming events. Click on Flash Mail to the left to make sure we have your current email address!

Facebook

Like us on Facebook to receive reminders of events and to enjoy occasional pictures of events that have taken place as part of our community.

Weekly Announcements

Each Sunday we provide a brief list of current announcements with the worship bulletin. The week's announcements document is posted the previous Friday to our web site, and recent weeks' announcements are available for your convenience in the event that you were not able to attend worship.

Annual Report 2015

Each January we issue an Annual Report that covers the previous years' activities. Annual messages from our ministers and staff are a part of this report, along with annual summaries from our Board of Deacons and Board of Trustees and other committees and groups that are a part of our organization. Hard copies are available from the church office, or you may click on Annual Meeting to the left to obtain a pdf of the document.
